This is how I create a customized face plate using home made desktop cnc engraver. 

Stock or original face plate looks so outdated. 

Here are other possibilities
New face plate is sone using acrylic sheet of 1.5mm thickness and engraved using CNC router i made a long time ago. Plotted using Vcarve software.
